Soul Vomit Annual Anthology

- Hide Guidelines

Broken Publications is calling for submissions for a future anthology to be published in 2012.

The topic of this anthology is Domestic Violence: victims, survival, escape, and aftermath.

The option to remain anonymous is open. If you wish not to remain anonymous, please send a short bio and include an author or artist photo so we can credit you properly.

What we're looking for:

Poetry, short stories, and prose pieces about domestic violence, recovery, leaving, or witnessing. Please keep single submissions at 2,000 words or less.

The goal is to spread awareness of how common domestic violence is, how to recognize the signs, and help people who have been or are victims of domestic violence to either leave or have the courage to call the police.

YOU RETAIN THE COPYRIGHT OF YOUR WORK. If the book goes somewhere and sells well, there will be a bonus check for each contributing writer, depending upon how well it does. There is no contractual agreement for this project.

Submit up to five (5) short stories (2,000 words or less), poetry, or prose about the topic of domestic violence, survival of, or PTSD after.

If you'd like to submit artwork along the same lines, it must be black and white and 300dpi quality. Cover art can be submitted in color, 300dpi.

You can submit up to 5 files total of any of these types - you retain all copyrights of your work, but it will be included in a collective anthology.

We look forward to reading your work!
